Many small woods are of great significance for wildlife and in applying for a WGS, particularly for ancient/semi-natural woodland, biological survey is becoming increasingly important.
Forest fact can undertake a full ecological assessment of a wood using surveyors who combine ecological expertise with an understanding of forestry management. Where a survey is a requirement of the WGS our report will provide the Forestry Commission with the independent information needed to assess the application.
